Packaging master data
A versioned database of every packaging component, SKU, material, and supplier relationship. One canonical record per asset, with a full history of every change.
PackR8 gives you a single source of truth for every packaging specification your business touches, the evidence behind it, and the reports the regulators ask for. Packaging master data, supplier certificates, Declarations of Conformity, EPR filings, recyclability grades — all connected, versioned, and audit-ready.
What PackR8 includes
Every module writes into and reads from the same packaging data model. Change a supplier certificate once — and every downstream DoC, EPR filing, and recyclability report reflects it automatically.
A versioned database of every packaging component, SKU, material, and supplier relationship. One canonical record per asset, with a full history of every change.
Supplier certificates, test reports, and technical documentation stored against the records they support. Expiry alerts before auditors ask.
Generate PPWR Annex VIII Declarations in minutes, pre-filled from your packaging records with digital signatory workflow and linked evidence.
Auto-generate EPR declarations for NL, DE, BE, FR, ES, PL. Market-specific validation before submission. Full audit trail per filing.
A/B/C recyclability grades per EN 13430:2004 and PPWR Article 6. Drill from packaging record to material composition to Grade.
A live, queryable graph connecting suppliers → materials → packaging → products. Traceability reports generated on demand.
The product in depth
Five deep dives into how PackR8 turns packaging data into compliance artifacts.
Every packaging component — bottle, cap, label, outer case, tertiary film — gets a structured record with material composition, supplier, weight, recyclability grade, and PPWR classification. Records are versioned. Previous values stay queryable for every audit, every quarter.
Supplier declarations, test reports, recycled-content certificates, migration test results — uploaded once, versioned, and linked to the packaging records they support. When a Declaration of Conformity or EPR submission references a value, PackR8 also references the evidence behind it.
From 12 August 2026, every packaging type on the EU market needs a Declaration of Conformity in the format prescribed by Annex VIII of EU Regulation 2025/40. PackR8 generates them pre-filled from the packaging database, with a digital signatory workflow, and a linked evidence archive.
Your sales volumes times your packaging specs equals your EPR obligation. PackR8 does that arithmetic for every scheme you're registered with, applies market-specific rules and fee tables, and produces pre-validated filings ready for submission to each scheme's portal.
| Scheme | Period | Fee | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Afvalfonds NL | 2026-Q1 | €184,120 | Submitted |
| Zentrale Stelle DE | 2026-Q1 | €226,800 | Submitted |
| Fost Plus BE | 2026-Q1 | €96,500 | Action required |
| Citeo FR | 2026-Q1 | €149,000 | Due 15 May |
PPWR Article 6 requires every packaging unit to be Design-for-Recycling graded A, B, or C by 2030. PackR8 computes the grade from the material composition, layer structure, adhesive type, colourant system, and decoration — cross-referenced with EN 13430:2004 and scheme-specific assessment grids.
